Primus Activation Healing and Space Clearing
To further her natural healing abilities, in 2007 Dede was trained and certified in the Primus Activation Healing Technique (PAHT) by its developer Naisha Ahsian*. Finding deep peace and satisfaction in her healing work, in 2009 Dede chose to reduce the retail aspect of The Magick Closet to allow more time to assist clients individually and in groups. Dede and her associates offer many classes, meditation groups, spiritual events and a select group of retail products including crystals, stones and essential oils.

My Journey to the Primus Activation Healing Technique
I’m often asked how and why I was drawn to become a practitioner of the Primus Activation Healing Technique.
I’m happy to share my story with you.
As long as I can remember I was drawn to all things spiritual, mystical and magickal. I was told repeatedly by psychics, most notably the late Alex Tanous, that I was a natural healer. Over the years I developed my spiritual life, incorporating positive aspects of many paths. I studied, attended dozens of workshops, classes and grounded myself in my spiritual practices. In 2003 I was called to open my shop, The Magick Closet, to provide a safe, comfortable space for those beginning the journey. I brought my many years of spiritual study, experience in small business and a passion for helping others find their way.
From day one of opening the shop, every intuitive, psychic, healer and medium I met told me I was a healer. “Yes, I know” I said, feeling somewhat embarrassed and tired of hearing it! I knew for a long time I was meant to do “hands on” healing work, but none of the techniques I was familiar with called to me, simply using my intuition and crystals was (and is) effective for me. This continued for another four years, being told I should do such and such, with many people offering to attune me to Reiki. Some folks were very insistent, even angry that I did not want the attunement. Don’t get me wrong, I love Reiki, love to receive it, know and respect some very wonderful practitioners. But I knew it wasn’t the path for me.
In 2005 my husband and I had the pleasure of attending the Crystal Conference in Vermont, produced by Heaven and Earth Jewelry and Stones. Among several great presenters was Naisha Ahsian. I felt very drawn to her and her work with crystals. In 2006 I brought Naisha to Maine for her workshop Becoming The Human Crystal. It was in that workshop where the Primus Activation came to my attention. Naisha had been in the process of developing the technique and it was just coming to the forefront. Finally the answer was presented! The technique I was looking for all those years had not even been developed yet!! The following year, 2007, I again had Naisha in Maine, this time for the certification course for Primus Activation. My life has never been the same!

~ Carole is a Psychic Tarot Reader who has been doing readings for a number of years. She has studied the Tarot since she was a teenager. Carole studied with Alex Tanous, internationally known Psychic, who taught and lived in the Portland area. He encouraged and guided her to meet her life challenges and then share those experiences with others on a spiritual path. Carole teaches Dream Interpretation, Meditation groups, and a Spiritual Awareness Development Group. She does Past Life Regressions and "Sees" and communicates with spirit guides and loved ones around us. She does Tarot Readings in person and telephone by appointment. Carole says she is a very blessed person to be able to share her gift; for in doing so she feels it's the best part of her own "Spiritual Journey" to continue growing and to love every day she is given.

Reiki I grew up in Vermont, in the United States, on a hundred-acre farm at the end of a dirt road. I am realizing now what a treasure it was to have all that land to explore, play and be in. I climbed mountains every year, learned to build a fire safely and camp in the woods, ride a horse, use a rifle, axe and knife, and paddle a canoe. As a reaction to the loneliness of rural life, I now love cities in my adult life. I suspect, though, the quiet wilderness will call me back, as I pass into elderhood. After eight enchanting years in San Francisco, I've lived in Yarmouth, Maine, since 1986, raising a family and working in the information technology field, a twenty-five year career that led from programming to high-level systems analysis and project management. In 2001, I learned Reiki, and it seized me with a deep passion. So, in mid-2005, I took a sabbatical from the IT world and started doing Reiki fulltime. Around the same time, I became licensed in Maine as an Emergency Medical Technician, and have been doing rescue work since early 2006. For my whole life, I have had a passion for learning and following the energy flow within me, and its connection to the world at large. Crossing paths with Reiki threw the doors wide open for me. Since then, I've studied intensely this amazing art of healing and awakening. It has brought my deepest wounds to light, and poured loving compassionate healing into them. Now, I spend as much time as possible making Reiki available to those who can use it to better their lives. My special passion is the EldersBloom project, bringing Reiki healing to elders around the world.

Massage Therapy Brian is very excited to be joining the wonderful team of practitioners promoting Spiritual, Emotional and Physical Well-Being at “The Magick Closet”. He is a graduate of Spa Tech Institute in the Holistic Massage Program. Brian is in private practice under the name of “Triskel Holistic Bodyworks”. He is a licensed massage therapist, Polarity therapist and Reiki Practitioner. He is certified in Animal Companion Reiki. Other specialties include Reflexology, Neuromuscular and Chair Massage. It is Brian’s mission ”To assist each client in the achievement of Balance and Harmony on their Life Path though the use of Holistic Modalities in a respectful and nurturing environment.” In his “spare time”, Brian is an actor and a singer/songwriter. Brian lives in Portland with his marvelous wife Leslie and Agnes the “Wondercat”. ~
Appointments & Cancellation Policy To schedule an appointment with one of our healers or psychics just give us call or e-mail. Out of respect for all of our practitioners and clients we have a 24 hour cancellation and “no show” policy. Your credit card will be charged 25% of the session fee unless other arrangements have been made.
